April Affirmations 2026

Lately, when the question, “what is my purpose?" comes up - the answer materializes quicker and quicker. That answer is usually “this - whatever I feel called to”. Last week I was listening to the podcast, The Friend Zone, and in the midst of Hey Fran Hey sharing a thought, the phrase “My Purpose in Many Fonts” came to my mind. Before I got a chance to think more on that, Fran said this:
“I don’t necessarily think it’s this one thing that’s gonna make you of value to the world, I think it’s just continuously giving yourself something to figure out, something to do, something to blossom in, and then being proud of yourself when it expands you; and then you’re on to the next thing…that’s what purpose is.” -Francheska Medina aka Hey Fran Hey
This resonated with Me deeply because it was as if we were saying the same thing in different fonts, in that very moment.
I’ve paid close attention to who I am when I’m at homeostasis, when I’m at my home base feeling rested, well fed, clear minded, and calm. That version of Me, is who I really am - someone who is kind, compassionate, and genuinely positive, who believes there is good in everyone and everything, someone patient, funny, and usually turned on in one way or another. That’s Me.
I noticed last year, around August, that when I get a call from my highest self to do something - anything really - whether it be to play a song that’s in my head, take a different route somewhere, or even sign up for a class and see it through for at least a month - that process of trusting myself enough to take action gives Me access to my most Me. That’s why Fran’s quote rang so true for Me - I believe my purpose lies in the characteristics that make Me, Me - and the more access I have to that version of myself, no matter how I felt called to reach it, the more I give those characteristics to the world.
That’s why it’s been easy for Me to see writing and speaking as my purpose because it is the space that I am my most kind and compassionate with myself as I share what’s true for Me. The truth is, though, like Fran points out, it’s not just in the writing and speaking, it’s in anything I can do to feel expanded and like Me. That is purpose.
Here are some affirmations for us to ground in our purpose and bring it into everything we do:
I am able to access my purpose in many ways.
My purpose lies in Me having access to my most authentic self.
The world benefits from Me Loving myself.
I am self-guided.
I trust myself to be who I am meant to.
I bring purpose and passion into everything I do.
In everything I do, my true self is present.
Sending us all Love as we blossom into what’s next. Have the happiest April.
