January Affirmations 2026

“He who has peace of mind disturbs neither himself nor another.” -Epicurus

The new year has always served as a time when we, collectively, shift all of our attention and energy to ourselves, in the most productive ways. I kind of Love the flow from the holiday season into the new year - thanksgiving is for generating gratitude, taking stock of all that we have and all that we are (most importantly), the christmas holiday season shifts our attention to giving, and with the new year, we’re ready to refill our cups. In this past year, I was reminded time and time again that our very best offering to the collective is to first thoroughly tend to ourselves.

Being less than taken care of can manifest many things in many ways, some of the most insidious we’ve been seeing play out around the world and in our own back yards. When we are children, we are not responsible for the harm we are subjected to, but as adults, we must take responsibility for our healing and for cultivating our own peace. That peace we then carry out into the world and begin a ripple effect of positivity to combat all the other actions not stemming from Love. This, I believe, is how we truly heal the world. This, by the way, is what YeMash is all about.

We heal ourselves, we learn to not fear our awareness and we soon find that what’s in us is in everything. We see with more ease, the harm that can be done unconsciously and we begin to heal hurts that touch more than just ourselves. Starting first with our peace of mind and spirit.

Here are some affirmations to create the peace and healing that we intend to touch the world with:

I am able to view the world with compassion.

I empathize with the hurts of the world and help to heal it by healing myself.

I am my most powerful when at peace.

I am a healer, I intentionally bring no harm to all people and all spaces.

I seek to place Love where I know it is lacking.

I am aware and quickly correct myself when operating from hurt.

I am safe to be peace and give Love.

Another brand new year ahead - I am so proud of us already. May we all be intentional in what we give to this year and what we receive back from it. Sending You all My Love.
